One in Three Ikarian Live Longer!
How do one in three citizens of a tiny town in Greece, Ikaria, live to over 90 years old?
Longevity is not a miracle or a secret, in most cases that we know. It’s all about staying healthy, freeing yourself of stress factors and taking care of your body and mind. Aging in place and senior independence are what we all strive for, secrets to remaining young in body (and in heart!) are not secrets at all, as we come to find out. But, they rather rely on awareness and care, in oneself. We still cannot deny this unique situation where people are taking very simple steps, and seeing awesome effects of longevity in life.
The story if Ikaria is that of a tiny town on an island in Greece, where the citizens live a normal, healthy life, taking only small steps, that seem to be blessing them with longevity in life.
